Fanheart3 ha annunciato oggi i vincitori della settima edizione dei fanheart3 awards, premio collaterale dell’82. Mostra Internazionale d’Arte Cinematografica de La Biennale di Venezia, creato dall’associazione fanheart3 e dedicato alle comunità di fan e alla cultura partecipativa.
La Giuria dei Fanheart3 Awards 2025, presieduta dalla presidente dell’associazione e fanartist Cristina Saccon, e composta da Sara Bezzetto, partecipante attiva alle comunità di videogiochi indie horror, Agnese Pietrobon, scrittrice per XRMust e Francesca Ranaldo, psicologa ed esperta di contenuti LGBTQIA+, ha deciso quanto segue:
La Golden Clip, assegnata al film con il più alto potenziale di diventare un film di culto fra i fan e influenzare di conseguenza la produzione di fanart da parte delle comunità online, va a:
Frankenstein, diretto da Guillermo Del Toro
Motivazioni della giuria
Guillermo Del Toro, regista che da sempre plasma con le sue opere l’immaginazione collettiva, offre ai fan una storia in cui ancora una volta veicola uno dei messaggi che sono più cari a chi si sente diverso: la più grande umanità può essere celata dietro le forme più mostruose; e lo fa grazie al suo stile unico, profondamente riconoscibile. Il suo adattamento di un'opera, che fa parte delle comunità dei fan dai suoi albori, si unisce poi egregiamente a una scelta di cast che rispecchia le fantasie del pubblico
La Silver Ship for best OTP – One True Pairing, assegnata alla coppia di personaggi il cui rapporto più richiama i trope tipici della fan culture e dello “shipping”, va a:
Scarlet / Hijiri dal film Hateshinaki Scarlet, diretto da Mamoru Hosoda
Motivazioni della giuria
Per la profonda bellezza del rapporto fra i personaggi di Scarlet e Hijiri, che partendo da lati opposti (del tempo e della vita) si migliorano a vicenda, generando un amore che non è soltanto profondamente romantico, ma anche uno strumento superiore che porta al bene dell’intera umanità. Lo spazio rielaborativo concesso allo spettatore – con potenziali derivazioni nel genere reincarnation fic, what if, missing moments e oltre – dà modo di connettersi profondamente ai personaggi e alla narrazione, che perdura oltre i titoli di coda
La XR Fan Experience, assegnata all’opera immersiva che, in termini di contenuti, narrazione e dinamiche di storyliving, meglio risponde al bisogno di coinvolgimento emotivo e mentale dell’utente/fan e può quindi maggiormente impattare la percezione che il pubblico ha delle tecnologie immersive, va a:
Happy Shadow, creato da Pei-Ying Lin, Ting-Ruei Su
Motivazioni della giuria
Happy Shadow trasmette l’importanza di non perdere l’immaginazione e la capacità di vedere oltre, ma anche quella di saper lasciare andare quello che ci blocca e che trasforma le cose felici e di cui possiamo godere in degli ostacoli. Questa importante tematica è trasmessa in modo poetico e delicato ma anche con un po’ di leggerezza, quasi nella forma di una favola, che ci chiama a lottare per la protagonista, Joey – un concetto che risuona profondamente con i fan, che si sentono partecipi delle vicende dei loro personaggi preferiti. Anche l’interazione, solo apparentemente semplice, riesce comunque a metterti in contatto - narrativamente ed emotivamente - con le difficoltà di situazioni analoghe a quelle vissute dalla protagonista
Viene inoltre conferita una Menzione d’onore per la sezione Cinema a:
Motor City diretto da Potsy Ponciroli
Motivazioni della giuria
Motor City dal momento uno ci riporta a un contesto e a un genere familiare e molto amato, che richiama fortemente alcuni classici del genere azione e di cui riconosciamo numerosi trope, svolte narrative e archetipi di personaggi. Ma è proprio questa familiarità che permette allo spettatore di godere appieno dell’originale scelta di rendere il film quasi un film muto. Ogni dialogo non sentito, ogni frase sospesa, ogni esclamazione non nascono dal film ma dall’immaginazione di chi sta guardando. Le aspettative riempiono gli spazi “vuoti”, mentre una colonna sonora eccezionale collabora a muovere gli animi e caricare di energia e di pathos la visione
Quest’anno, i vincitori riceveranno un ricordo realizzato a mano dall’artigiano locale veneto Matteo Favaro. Nei giorni successivi alla cerimonia, inoltre, la fanartist Maryluis creerà un artwork originale dedicato alle opere premiate.
In continuità con l’attenzione alla sostenibilità che i Fanheart3 Awards portano avanti dalla prima edizione, anche quest’anno il premio si accompagnerà a un gesto concreto nei confronti dell’ambiente: una donazione a Marevivo Veneto, progetto dedicato alla tutela del mare e delle sue risorse.

Created by cultural association Fanheart3, the awards celebrate the bond between cinema, immersive works, and fan communities, the beating heart of participatory culture.
The Fanheart3 Awards 2025 Jury is chaired by the association’s president Cristina Saccon and made up of Sara Bezzetto, active member of indie and horror videogame communities, Agnese Pietrobon, XRMust staff writer, and Francesca Ranaldo, psychologist and expert in LGBTQIA+ content. The Jury assigned the following recognitions:

Happy Shadow conveys the importance of not losing our imagination and the ability to see beyond, but also of learning to let go of what holds us back and turns joyful things we could enjoy into obstacles. This central theme is delivered poetically and delicately, yet with a touch of lightness, almost in the form of a fairy tale, inviting us to fight alongside the protagonist, Joey—a concept that resonates deeply with fans, who feel part of their favorite characters’ journeys. The interaction, seemingly simple, still manages to connect you—both narratively and emotionally—to the challenges of situations similar to those experienced by the protagonist

Motor City, from the very first moment, brings us back to a familiar and much-loved context and genre, one that strongly recalls certain action classic movies and in which we recognize several tropes, plot twists, and character archetypes. Yet it is precisely this familiarity that allows the audience to fully appreciate the original choice of making the film almost a silent movie. Every unheard line, every suspended phrase, every exclamation does not come from the film itself but from the imagination of the viewer. Expectations fill the “empty” spaces, while an outstanding soundtrack helps stir emotions and infuse the viewing experience with energy and pathos
This year, the winners will receive a handcrafted keepsake made by local Venetian artisan Matteo Favaro. In the days following the ceremony, an exclusive artwork created by fanartist Maryluis will also be designed to celebrate the awarded works.
Fanheart3 has been committed to sustainability since its first edition. Once again, our award will consist of a donation for the environment. This year, we’ve chosen Marevivo Veneto, a project dedicated to preserving the sea and its resources.
